The Supreme Court has a chance to bring some clarity to the legal situation along the U.S.-Mexico border. Leaving matters unsettled risks exacerbating an already problematic situation.
So very frustrating and shows, along with the issues of abortion, gun safety, safety net benefits, LGTQ+ , trans etc., that Republicans do not care at all about people who are not like themselves or who believe differently than they do. Speaker Mike Johnson and other House Republicans have clearly shown that they don't want to try to come up with solutions on our immigration problems, they only want a talking point so they can yell, insult and hate.
Can you talk about what happens if Abbott decides not to follow the ruling of the Supreme Court and I was shocked that it wasn’t a larger majority slapping down Texas. Hope you will address this ruling!
Do you think that Abbot and buds actually BELIEVE that border crossings are an "invasion?" Or is this all just whupping up the voters?
Rep. Cellar has suggested federalizing the Texas National Guard. Believe that is part of what Eisenhower did with the Arkansas Guard in Little Rock.
